ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Commissioning stained glass is straightforward. If possible we meet you for an on-site survey. Based on this meeting, we submit two or three renderings and a proposal. Following your response, we address concerns or suggestions that you may have raised. Once you agree on all points of design, glass selection, cost and timeframe, your signature on the final proposal and a 25% deposit serve as contract and confirmation or the order.
A second 1/4 payment is due half way through fabrication. This stage is a perfect time for you to visit our studio and view your project if you are able. We deliver and install your stained glass as per our agreed upon schedule. Final payment is due then. For large-scale commercial or public work, there are additional steps generally involving a committee, and guarantees such as insurance and workmen's compensation at the installation site.
Each project comes with it's own set of circumstances and it's own solutions. We have successfully negotiated overseas commissions by mail and telephone and more recently by email, art and technical drawings crossing the ocean at the flick of a finger. We have agreed to different payment schedules, if better suited to particular situations.
